Comments: The bulk of todays movement occurred before 09.00 hrs when the winds were much steadier. A constant flow of Meadow Pipits throughout the watch, but front loaded. A single flock of 8 House Martins came thro` very high SE. Another group of 4 Jays (after yesterdays) were seen coming in high from the east and proceeded west in a cumbersome and painfully slow way - they got there tho` !!!. A spectacular single flock of circa 220 Pinkfeet from the west, came over beyond the watershed, south of the col and disappeared very high to the east.
