Rombalds Moor 27-03-2008

Rombalds Moor (Ilkley Moor, West Yorks)
Keighley Gate. Whetstone and Bradup

There were several Mipits and Skylarks on territory and several small parties (of up to c20 birds) mipits flying in a general north west direction from Whetstone Allotment; smaller numbers of Skylark and Pied Wagtail also went north west.

Wilsden tonight (c) 2008
This mornings rain stopping at c 1100hr with breaking cloud. This afternoons open skies now becoming congested with cirrostratus and much deeper cloud to the far west! They say heavy rain starting overnight and tomorrow!!

Redcar Tarn Keighley 27-03-2008

Redcar Tarn 0915 - 1130hr
W F3, 5degC, moderate rain becoming drizzle then fining up by 1100hr, 10km vis, QNH 999 rising.

Morning spent taking photographs but the mipit (seen without watching) vis albeit small at this site was obvious.
