Denholme Clough 01-09-2007
6.45 -7.45 Wind W F4 Sunny with scattered heavy clouds.
Not a lot really moving, Swallows seemed evident with several big feeding parties which very slowly moved thru with none remaining by the time I left, few Mpipts on the move and also had a 1st for the clough!
Swallow 134 nw,w or sw
Goldfinch 5 w
Goosander 5 sw
Mpipit 15 s
female/imm Redstart and Whinchat (latter 1st for DC in my time watching there) also 3 Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff and 6 Willow Warbler in bushes.
