0715 – 1045hr. DCB / HC.
Weather and Sky:
A morning of SS east wind and deep fog, only lifting at the very end of the watch. SSE F2 / 3, 9 increasing 12degC, 100m to 1000m max, fog stratus sometimes with vv to open sky and cirrus o/head. Dry, 1021 rising 1022.

A desperate morning of deep fog with many false dawns, but often surrounded by grounded mipits creeping through west. When conditions improved and the dawn did come towards the end, waves of mipits passed through, all going fast and west. Only three Swallows and a few albas otherwise nothing!!

Moving Birds:
Mipit 330 > W

Alba 4 > SW

Other:
A Willow Warbler in the open.
