Weather and Sky:
A deteriorating evening after a fine spell mid day following a very wet morning. Wind: W F5. Temp: +2.7C and falling. Snow from the previous day now fully thawed. Precipitation: rain at dusk. Visibility: 15km. Cloud: Cirrus various, Ac lenticulais, Altostratus, Cu fractus, Stratocumulus and contrailing persistent. 5 – 8ok. Pressure: more or less static over last 24hr, 987hpa.

A much reduced gull roost tonight of only c1500 small gulls, about equal BHG / Common. Nine Herring Gulls being the only large gulls present. No passerines seen. Gull roost still not complete when leaving at almost dark, with considerable parties still arriving from the N and NE.
